Residential · Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam city house.
Once Heineken’s stables, later a photography studio and a shop, this ground-floor space on Eerste van der Helststraat in Amsterdam’s De Pijp has been transformed into a home. A double-height dining room and a long sightline from kitchen to living room give the interior a generous sense of space. A dark blue kitchen with marble and brass, a red walk-in wardrobe and a bedroom with a floral headboard give each room its own character, while art, books and objects collected by the owners over the years bring a personal thread throughout.
